Welcoming new canine Board and Train student ORIOLE

Oriole, the 7 year old Bichon Frise male dog and FINE-TUNED CANINES Board and Train dog training program student in Florida

Yesterday, another canine student joined FINE-TUNED CANINES Board and Train program. Our new student is a 7 year old Bichon Frise male dog and his name is Oriole.

Oriole did not have any previous training and is ready for some new mental challenges and for broadening his intellectual horizons.

Oriole's already learning new skills and he met his canine faculty as well: professor Shakti and professor Chopper. :)

Oriole's major fields of study include "good manner-ology", the "art of loose leash walking" and the "philosophy of barkless living", but this smart little guy's accomplishments will quite likely exceed all expectations.

Remember: it is NEVER too late to start training your dog! Dogs learn their whole lives, just like humans. Proper canine education is a chance for your dog to develop his or her potential and talents.

We are very excited about getting to know Oriole's sparkly personality and assisting him in discovering his talents.

Interspecies friendships - dogs being friends with another species (movies)

Human-Canine-Equine friendship. Rattler the horse, Shakti the Dog and Lexi the human :)

Friendship and love are universal...This blog post will show you some amazing examples of interspecies friendships between dogs and other animals: dolphins, cats, tigers, monkeys, deer, etc. Maybe we humans can learn a thing or two from our best friends: dogs...If they can make friends with other species, why can't we? Maybe we can even be nicer to our own species...

If you have some other examples showing friendships between dogs and other species - please click on comment and add a link. Thank you!

Listen to your dog...Don't just talk...

"Lots of people talk to animals...Not very many listen though...that's the problem."
— Benjamin Hoff (The Tao of Pooh)

We all talk to our dogs, but do we listen??? Remember to listen to your dogs. They always have something to say even though they do not use words to communicate. They use their body language and non-verbal cues to communicate a variety of things and emotions.
Do you want for your dog to listen to you better?
Be a better listener yourself...
Brodie's giving a speech. The audience is applauding and the security (Chopper the protection spaniel) is scanning the environment...;)
