FINE-TUNED CANINES
It is never too late for canine education and FINE-TUNED CANINES is thrilled to have the opportunity to work with a senior this time: a 9-year old Vizsla female named Indiana (Indiana Jones) from Fort Myers, FL. Indiana's "little sister", Jersey (also a Vizsla) came to train with us before and now it is her older sister’s turn to learn some new skills. Indiana is proof that older dogs not only can learn new skills, but that they enjoy learning and having something to think about.

FINE-TUNED CANINES
Fine-tuned Canines has just welcomed Thor, an 11 month old German Shepherd from the east coast of Florida to our facility in Naples, Florida. Thor, a member of the herding group, is an inquisitive, curious, Shepherd that has good energy. He is learning to look to Lexi, his trainer and current pack leader for direction and guidance. He has already experienced the natural distractions of seeing deer and an eagle during training and is becoming more disciplined and self-controlled.

Max the Standard Schnauzer male dog and Board and Train canine student at FINE-TUNED CANINES in Naples, FL
Fine-tuned Canines welcomes new Board and Train student Max, a Standard Schnauzer puppy from Fort Myers, Florida. Max is a high energy, intelligent six month old puppy who enjoys learning new skills. He is learning good manners, self-control skills, focus and obedience, as well as being schooled in both on and off leash training at our facility in Naples, Florida. He is experiencing proper socialization with other dogs with the assistance of Fine-tuned Canines own balanced canine helpers, Shakti and Chopper. Max loves getting both physical and mental stimulation. This smart little fellow would get bored easily if not given "jobs" and challenging tasks. And that's not a surprise. Standard Schnauzers, athough not physically large, are not lap dogs, but rather powerful, energetic, working dogs that thrive on living a life with purpose. Max is learning how to be a good pack follower as well.
Max with his new friends Shakti and Chopper who also teach him proper canine manners at FINE-TUNED CANINES Board and Train dog training school. Here Max is practicing some self-control skills and staying on a designated place (bench).
Tripp the Labrador Retriever male and FINE-TUNED CANINES Board and Train dog training school graduate (Naples, FL dog training)
Tripp the Labrador Retriever male has graduated from our Board and Train dog training school FINE-TUNED CANINES in Naples, FL. Tripp is a very energetic, athletic, high energy dog that we truly had fun working with. This dog is not only beautiful but super smart. Tripp loves working and having a job. He learned lots of new things at FINE-TUNED CANINES including good dog manners around humans and other dogs, new ways to exercise, basic and more advanced obedience skills, some agility elements and of course retrieving, including water retrieving. Tripp also learned what it means to be a balanced pack follower. He learned to run on a treadmill too and loves it. He worked off-leash with 3 other dogs and learned to follow a human's lead even with various distractions present. Tripp is a dog with lots of potential!
Grouper the Dachshund female from Naples, FL and FINE-TUNED CANINES Board and Train graduate
Grouper, a Dachshund female from Naples, FL (or as we call this wonderful little girl, the "Dashing Dachshund"), has graduated from FINE-TUNED CANINES Board and Train dog training program in Naples, FL. She did a fantastic job and enjoyed learning new things. Her owners had been previously told that "you can never teach a Dachshund anything". Grouper proved this wrong. This smart little girl learned a lot of things here at FINE-TUNED CANINES and developed new friendships wth other dogs. We were very happy to witness Grouper's transformation into a balanced dog and to guide her so she can develop all her potential and skills (and she has so much potential and so many hidden talents!). Last but not least, we had a wonderful time working with Grouper's owners, who are a great example of what responsible dog owners and pack leaders should be! Go "Team K" and Grouper - we are proud of you all!:)
We are going to miss this sweet little gal and her kisses!
