Board and Train Experience and Back to Balance Rehabilitation Experience in Southwest Florida
Things that your dog will experience during Fine-tuned Canines exclusive Board and Train or Back to Balance Rehabilitation program:
- Living in a family environment rather than in a kennel situation: your dog will learn good manners and be trained in a home environment where he or she will be included in daily family situations…The big difference here is that our family consists of a professional dog trainer and canine behavior specialist Lexi Hayden and a training assistant, Mike Hayden. We’re both members of the International Association of Canine Professionals.
- In addition, the canine part of our family consists of two very well-mannered and well-behaved dogs: Shakti, who is a well-known canine video star in many circles, a Canine Good Citizen Dog and the holder of three trick training titles received from renowned trick training expert Kyra Sundance, and our other dog Chopper, who is equally talented and trained.
- Personalized training designed to achieve the goals outlined in the training plan
- A personalized exercise plan consisting of conditioning (or maintenance of conditioning), weight loss (if necessary) through the use of various physical exercises, daily walks and jogging

- Group training experiences in a structured and motivating environment: your dog will not only will learn new skills, but will also be able to practice them in a small group of balanced and well-trained dogs in a supervised and structured situation.
- Experiencing a natural canine social situation: living in a balanced pack
- Creative playtime – learning through playing
- Sleeping in the house, in a dog's personal "camp cabana": we do not have any outdoor kennels and our canine Board and Train campers sleep inside our home just like our own dogs, each in their own crate on a doggy bed. Besides using air conditioning we also place a personal fan next to the canine camper's crate so there's an additional gentle breeze.
- Sound therapy: when our Board and Train canine campers go to sleep, they get to listen to soothing and calming sounds that guarantee them a sound sleep
- Basic grooming: brushing, ear cleaning, teeth cleaning, etc.
- Being administered medications if necessary
- Being administered flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative if needed during the Board and Train program
- Massage
- Reiki
- Relaxing in a harmonious and calm environment
- Experiencing a balanced approach that will help the dog to become balanced as well
